4508 Chestnut Street
4508 Chestunut Street was an existing abandoned nursing home that Campenella Development acquired and renovated. The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing Science now operates a long-term elder care teaching facility out of the building. The innovative Living Independently for Elders (LIFE) program makes use of this facility to provide care for chronic conditions, adult day care, and other services to vulnerable seniors.
